How To Install Your Sonos Download Player

You must complete the setup of your Sonos speakers, you will also need an active internet connection to run this service. Once you're set up with the app, follow the simple instructions below to install your Sonos Download Player.

Complete the speaker setup

Before proceeding, make sure your Sonos speakers are fully set up and tested to confirm they are working properly.

Go to the Account menu

After launching the app, you can open the 'Account' menu by tapping the user icon in the top right corner to sign in with your Sonos account.

Select Content Services

When you have signed in, press 'Content Services' to proceed to the next step.

Select Add Content Service

At the bottom of the screen, press 'Add Content Service'.

Select the Download Player service

Search for 'Download Player' service and select from the list.

Press 'Add to Sonos'

Near the top of the screen, press on the 'Add to Sonos' button to proceed.

At the bottom of the screen, press the 'Authorise' button to continue.

Enter your login details

Enter the provided email and password credentials, and press 'Log In'. If you do not have these please contact us for details.

Return to the Sonos app

Give your account a nickname

Update the nickname if necessary and press 'Continue' to finish.

The Download Player service can be found under 'Your Services' on the Sonos home screen.

Choose a playlist

You can choose the playlist you want to listen to and press 'Play'.

Open the Download Player from the main page to access your curated music content and start listening.
