The Android Download Player

In this section, the main screens of the Android Download Player are described.

You can navigate between these screens by swiping your finger to the left or right on your device's screen.

 

The Playing Screen

The Playing screen shows the tracks in the playlist that is currently playing.

By selecting a track the menu will appear. From here you can:

  • select the track to play,
  • skip to the next track in the playlist,
  • add the track to your favourites list,
  • remove the track from your favourites list,
  • disable the track so it never plays again

 

The Timetable Screen

The Timetable screen shows the music day-parts that you have profiled throughout the day, the times that they will play and amount of music in each.

Each day-part will be loaded automatically, in line with your music requirements.

By selecting a day-part the menu will appear. From here you can:

  • override the day-part playing, by selecting the a day-part to play
  • resume the profiled day-part to switch back to your profiled music

 

The Playlists Screen

The Playlists screen shows the playlists created by your music provider which may be selected on-demand to override the timetabled music.

You can make your own playlist by click the + sign and following the instructions.

By selecting a playlist the menu will appear. From here you can:

  • override the profiled playlist; by selecting the playlist you wish to play
  • create a new playlist
  • resume the profiled playlist; by selecting a playlist, then selecting Resume Timetable

 

The Favourites Screen

You can make a track your favourite on any of the music screens by clicking the heart icon.

The Favourites screen shows the tracks that you have previously marked as favourites and they can be played at any time, regardless which playlist is currently loaded.

By selecting a track the menu will appear. From here you can:

  • select the track to play now; interrupting the current track playing,
  • select the track to play next; queuing the track to play after the current track,
  • mark the track as a favourite,
  • mark the track as unrated; removing any favourite or disabled markings,
  • disable a track so it never plays again

 

The History Screen

The History screen shows a list of the tracks that have been played for your reference.

By selecting a track the menu will appear. From here you can:

  • select the track to play now; interrupting the current track playing,
  • select the track to play next; queuing the track to play after the current track,
  • mark the track as a favourite,
  • mark the track as unrated; removing any favourite or disabled markings,
  • disable a track so it never plays again
